Revived Supply ≥ 3Y measures how much BTC was spent on a given day after remaining inactive for at least three years. This threshold begins to isolate deeper dormant supply, where coins have stayed untouched well beyond shorter holding windows.
A higher reading means more multi-year dormant supply has returned to the market. A lower reading means those older cohorts remained inert. It is most useful with Spent Volume Age Bands and the 2Y and 5Y thresholds, where the question is whether reactivation is broad or structurally deep.
The key caveat is depth. This series is less reactive than the lower thresholds, so changes are more selective and usually more consequential, but it will not capture earlier stages of long-term holder spending as quickly as 1Y or 2Y.
