Estimated Days to Next Halving converts remaining block distance into a calendar-style estimate of days left. It is the intuitive companion to Blocks to Next Halving, but not the exact protocol countdown.
A falling series means the next subsidy reduction is drawing closer in time terms. A rising or shifting estimate usually reflects changes in the pace of block production rather than any change in the halving rule itself. It belongs beside Blocks to Next Halving and Halving Epoch.
The main caveat is that halving is triggered by block height, not elapsed time. This series is therefore interpretive rather than exact, and the estimate can move as block arrival speed changes.
