Bitcoin Realized Profit to Loss Ratio

Ratio of realized profit to realized loss, showing whether spending is dominated by profit-taking or loss realization.

About Realized Profit/Loss Ratio

Realized P/L Ratio divides daily realized profit by daily realized loss. Values above 1 show profit-dominant spending; values below 1 show loss-dominant spending. The unit is dimensionless and the metric sits inside realized flow.

High readings mark days when spent coins locked in more gains than losses, often during profit-taking or rebound phases. Low readings mark realized-loss dominance around breakdowns or capitulation. Realized Profit, Realized Loss, and NRPL are the direct context.

The ratio shows balance, not gross flow size. A quiet day and an extreme day can print similar values if realized profit and realized loss scale together. It can also spike when the loss denominator collapses, so the gross components matter.
